Gaviscon Double Action provides dual relief from heartburn and indigestion symptoms, both. The product is formulated to work in two ways. It creates a protective barrier over your stomach to stop refluxing acid causing discomfort. Moreover it also neutralizes excess stomach acid. It has peppermint which can help relax the sphincter muscle which closes off the stomach from the esophagus. Specifications Shake well. Take 2-4 teaspoonfuls 4x a day or as directed by a doctor. Take after meals or at bedtime. Dispense product only by spoon or other measuring device. Ingredients Gaviscon peppermint liquid relief contains 250mg sodium alginate, 133.5mg sodium bicarbonate and 80mg calcium carbonate per 5ml.
